Text will read either –

THE (FAMILY NAME) KIDS RULE   or   (CHILD’S FIRST NAME) RULES

So if the ruler is for just one child, put the first name in the text box with the word 'rules' - eg BEN RULES

If the ruler is for more than one child, put the surname in the text box with the additional words - eg THE SMITH KIDS RULE

NB.  The bottom edge of the ruler is at 20cm so that you can hang the ruler just above a skirting board or similar, not sitting on the floor as in the first image.
